The eleven BLANKBOOK spaces belong to different collections depending on color and techniques used. The design and production process starts from the material at hand and the fun in making, that is part of the reason why BLANKBOOK comes in a wide variety.
Guide to collections
Gradient
The Gradient Collection gather all books with hand sprayed covers, spine and/or edges.
Cosmos
This traditional bookbinding technique is called sprinkling. Sprickled edges or covers are found on older books in two or three colors and often very small sprickles evenly distributed with an ornamental and functional purpose. In BLANKBOOK the sprinkles are exaggerated to enhance the tactile contrast with the matte paper.
Solid
In the Solid Collection you find Orange Ornament, Black Bliss and Wholly White amongst others. The exterior is in monochrome; spine, edges, bookmark, cover and linen thread.
