Besides the visual contrast between black and white, the glossy white color creates an contrasting tactile feeling to the black cover with a velvet and skin touch. The visual contrast is also present inside the book where the black linen thread is seen in the middle of the warm white folded signatures. The three thin white woven bookmarks in silk feel will help you keep track of your favorite spreads. The black spine is attached with a coptic stitch, leaving columns of kettle stitches perpendicular to the folded signatures.

In order to get the solid edges, the spine and the trimmed edges are separately brushed with color three to four times with drying time in between.
